CyberCabbie — Coming to the Scenic City
Greater Chattanooga Region

Preparing the greater Chattanooga region for the next generation of transportation.

CyberCabbie™ is a Georgia-based venture preparing for the introduction of Tesla's Cybercab as a new mobility option for residents and visitors throughout the greater Chattanooga region, including Northwest Georgia and Southeast Tennessee.

The Platform

Transportation from the future — being planned for the greater Chattanooga region.

Tesla designed Cybercab as a purpose-built two-passenger autonomous vehicle, with no steering wheel or pedals. CyberCabbie™ is being developed around the opportunity to bring that experience to the greater Chattanooga region as Tesla expands Cybercab fleet opportunities and deployment into additional markets. Regulatory planning currently contemplates electronically requested, prearranged passenger trips rather than traditional street-hail taxi service.

The Market Opportunity

Why Chattanooga?

Chattanooga's concentrated visitor destinations create natural short-trip mobility corridors linking downtown hotels, the riverfront, Lookout Mountain, Southside, dining districts, sports venues, entertainment destinations and other activity centers.

Iconic Attractions

The Tennessee Aquarium, riverfront, Lookout Mountain, Rock City, Ruby Falls, museums and historic attractions generate year-round visitor trips across a compact metropolitan area.

Hospitality

Downtown, Southside, the Riverfront and surrounding districts provide hotels and accommodations that create natural transportation demand throughout the day and evening.

Food & Entertainment

Restaurants, breweries, culinary destinations, music venues and sporting events give residents and visitors more reasons to move between Chattanooga's distinct districts.

Visitor Mobility

Make more of Chattanooga accessible.

CyberCabbie is being developed around a simple idea: transportation should help visitors experience more of Chattanooga without repeatedly navigating unfamiliar roads, finding parking or repositioning a personal vehicle.

Georgia-Based Operations

CyberCabbie Fleet Operations LLC is being formed in Georgia to support future vehicle ownership, fleet operations, charging, maintenance and regulatory compliance.

Regional Service Planning

Initial regulatory planning includes potential intrastate passenger service in Northwest Georgia, with expansion into Tennessee as applicable regulatory requirements and Tesla deployment capabilities permit.

Regulatory Engagement

CyberCabbie has begun direct regulatory engagement in Georgia concerning the appropriate passenger-carrier framework for purpose-built, fully autonomous Cybercab service and is conducting parallel regulatory research for future Tennessee operations. Our objective is to resolve state-specific requirements well before commercial vehicles are deployed.

Operational Readiness

Building the foundation for a scalable fleet.

Fleet Operations

Planning for vehicle acquisition, deployment, utilization, maintenance and scalable fleet operations.

Charging Infrastructure

Evaluating overnight charging, electrical capacity, fleet parking and infrastructure requirements.

Regulatory Engagement

Engaging Georgia officials and researching Tennessee and interstate requirements before commercial service begins.

Tourism & Hospitality

Exploring mobility concepts connecting hotels, attractions, restaurants, entertainment venues and visitor destinations.

Who It's For

Designed around real Chattanooga trips.

Residents

Dinner on the Southside without hunting for parking. A quiet airport trip. A two-person ride downtown. Transportation that complements the car you already own rather than requiring another one.

Visitors

Hotel guests moving between the riverfront, downtown attractions, Lookout Mountain, restaurants, sports and entertainment without needing to rent a car or repeatedly manage parking.

Inclusive Mobility

Transportation should serve more people.

Autonomous transportation has the potential to create additional mobility choices for visitors, older adults and people who may not drive themselves. CyberCabbie will consider accessibility as an important part of Chattanooga service planning while following Tesla's vehicle capabilities and applicable accessibility requirements.

Current Status

Planning today. Preparing for tomorrow.

CyberCabbie passenger service is not currently operating.

CyberCabbie is pursuing market development, fleet acquisition planning, charging and staging infrastructure, commercial insurance research and regulatory preparation for potential future Cybercab operations in Northwest Georgia and the greater Chattanooga region.

Future commercial operation is subject to Tesla vehicle and fleet availability, applicable network requirements, commercial insurance, applicable federal and state requirements, and completion of the appropriate regulatory approvals for each market served.

Community Collaboration

Building Chattanooga's Cybercab opportunity together.

CyberCabbie welcomes conversations with tourism, hospitality, government, transportation, infrastructure and community organizations interested in Chattanooga's autonomous-mobility future.

Our objective is to engage early, understand the regulatory and operational path, and help prepare Chattanooga to be a strong candidate as Cybercab opportunities expand into new metropolitan markets.

Straight Answers

Frequently asked questions

Is CyberCabbie Tesla Robotaxi?

No. CyberCabbie™ is an independent venture and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Tesla, Inc. Tesla is the manufacturer of Cybercab and developer/provider of the vehicle's autonomous-driving technology. Proposed CyberCabbie operations remain subject to Tesla vehicle availability and applicable Tesla fleet/network requirements.

How would CyberCabbie work with Tesla's Robotaxi Network?

CyberCabbie's anticipated role is local fleet ownership and support, including vehicle acquisition, charging, staging, maintenance, infrastructure and local market development, rather than creation of a separate ride-hailing network. We anticipate that passenger booking, dispatch and the autonomous-driving platform would operate within Tesla's Robotaxi ecosystem if and when Tesla makes that model available to third-party fleet owners. Tesla has not yet publicly confirmed all terms or requirements for third-party Cybercab fleet participation.

Can I buy a CyberCabbie ride today?

Not yet. CyberCabbie is currently in the development and regulatory-planning stage. Paid Cybercab passenger service is not yet available. CyberCabbie.com will provide launch information as plans develop.

Will there be a driver?

Cybercab has no steering wheel or pedals and is designed for unsupervised autonomous operation.

What is CyberCabbie doing now?

We are focused on Northwest Georgia and greater Chattanooga market development, fleet and charging infrastructure planning, insurance, direct regulatory engagement, tourism mobility concepts and coordination with relevant stakeholders.
