Tesla is the manufacturer of Cybercab and developer/provider of the vehicle's autonomous-driving technology. Proposed CyberCabbie operations remain subject to Tesla vehicle availability and applicable Tesla fleet/network requirements.
CyberCabbie's anticipated role is local fleet ownership and support, including vehicle acquisition, charging, staging, maintenance, infrastructure and local market development, rather than creation of a separate ride-hailing network. We anticipate that passenger booking, dispatch and the autonomous-driving platform would operate within Tesla's Robotaxi ecosystem if and when Tesla makes that model available to third-party fleet owners. Tesla has not yet publicly confirmed all terms or requirements for third-party Cybercab fleet participation.
